Earlier this morning, Bungie employee Joseph Staten gave a small hint as to what the first non - Halo game made by Bungie may be like. Staten was giving a talk at GDC online, titled "Writing the Whirlwind" and it was inevitable that somebody would ask him about the new game and universe Bungie are creating, in partnership with Activision.
At the beginning of the session, Staten had said that he would not say a word about the developers plans. After commenting that Bungie had spent ten years creating a mega - universe in which players could only experience for six to eight hours at a time ( referring to campaign here). Staten left us with this cryptic message, "Wouldn't it be great if we could make a world that was always there for you ?"
Being partnered with Activision their is the possibility it could be an MMO, but they have already confirmed that their next game would be multi - platform. Confirmed by the fact they have open positions for testers of PS3 hardware. Will it be an RPG, FPS, Space Shooter ? !
Only time will tell.

Thats pretty interesting, considering that there last series blew peoples minds away im wondering what they are doing up there.....
Something epic, thats for sure.
Must be hope its not an MMO there expensive :(
I was never a fan of the Halo games; quite the opposite. They just seemed so bland and uninteresting...even online, on PC, it's just no fun. I actually was unsure of who Bungie even was before clicking on this link. Hopefully this next game goes in a different direction. I'll totally give it a shot if it looks good, but for a company that's sold as many games as the Halo series, I expect this new title will be quality.
Never went ape shit over them either so I hope this is something quite different.
